Shine Travel – Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using Shine Travel services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These govern all bookings and travel arrangements made through Shine Travel, whether via email, phone, website, or in-person. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. GENERAL TERMS

1.1. Scope of Services

Shine Travel offers travel planning, tour packages, flight and accommodation bookings, visa support, travel insurance assistance, and customer service related to travel. We work as agents for third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, and insurance providers.

1.2. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and are deemed accepted upon payment of a deposit or full amount for services.

2. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

2.1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings must be confirmed in writing. A confirmation invoice will be sent once the 50% deposit or full payment has been received.

2.2. Deposits and Final Payments

  • A minimum deposit of 50% package cost is required to secure your booking.

  • Full payment must be made 15 days before the departure date unless otherwise specified.

  • Failure to pay on time may result in automatic cancellation and loss of deposit.

2.3. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept bank transfers, UPI, and other payment platforms as listed on our website.

3. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

3.1. Cancellation by Client

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.

  • Refunds are subject to the terms of the individual supplier and may include administrative fees.

  • If a non-refundable fare or rate is booked, no refund will be issued.

Cancellation charge

  • 61+ days, 2000 per person Cancellation charge

  • 31–60 days 50% of package cost

  • 15–30 days 75% of package cost

  • 0–15 days 100% of package cost

3.2. Changes by Client

  • Change requests are subject to availability and may incur service or supplier-imposed fees.

  • Shine Travel is not responsible for changes that are not confirmed in writing.

3.3. Cancellations or Changes by Supplier

We are not responsible for changes or cancellations made by airlines, hotels, or other suppliers. However, we will assist in finding alternatives or processing refunds where applicable.

4. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & DOCUMENTS

  • You are solely responsible for securing valid passports, visas, transit permits, and meeting entry requirements.

  • Shine Travel can assist with guidance but does not guarantee approval.

  • Failure to obtain proper documentation does not entitle you to a refund.

5. TRAVEL INSURANCE

  • Comprehensive travel insurance is highly recommended for all travelers.

  • We offer assistance with travel insurance policies but are not liable for denied claims.

  • Your policy should cover trip interruption, cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and delays.

6. HEALTH & SAFETY

  • It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically fit and medically cleared to travel.

  • Please consult your doctor for vaccinations, especially when traveling to regions requiring proof of immunization.

  • Shine Travel is not liable for health risks, including exposure to infectious diseases.

7. BEHAVIOR & CONDUCT

  • You are expected to act responsibly, respectfully, and legally during your travels.

  • We reserve the right to cancel travel arrangements without refund for any traveler who is disruptive, abusive, or engages in illegal behavior.

8. SUPPLIER LIABILITY & THIRD-PARTY TERMS

  • Shine Travel acts as an intermediary and does not own or operate airlines, hotels, or transportation providers.

  • We are not liable for acts, omissions, delays, injuries, losses, or damages caused by third-party suppliers.

  • Your contract is often directly with the third party, and their terms may apply in addition to ours.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes)

  • Epidemics or pandemics (e.g., COVID-19)

  • Civil unrest or political instability

  • Terrorism or war

  • Airline or transportation strikes

In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to assist you, but refunds or changes will be subject to supplier policies.

10. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

  • Your personal data is collected solely for the purpose of delivering travel services.

  • We may share relevant data with airlines, hotels, or travel insurance providers only when necessary.

  • Shine Travel complies with all applicable data protection laws and never sells personal information to third parties.

11. MARKETING MATERIAL & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Photos or testimonials shared with us may be used for marketing purposes unless the client opts out in writing.

  • We always request permission before tagging or identifying individuals online.

12. COMPLAINTS & CUSTOMER SUPPORT

  • Any issues during your trip should be reported immediately to our support team.

  • Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 business days of return from travel.

  • We will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

13. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Himachal Pradesh, India.

  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution first.

  • If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration or a court of competent jurisdiction Himachal Pradesh.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions, along with any signed booking form or confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between Shine Travel and the client. No oral or written representation not contained herein is binding unless confirmed in writing by Shine Travel.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & ACCEPTANCE

By confirming a booking or making a payment to Shine Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
